学会賞は，戦略経営に関する理論または実践について貢献するところが大きいと認めた本学会員を表彰し，本学会および戦略経営の理論と実践の発展をはかることを目的としています。戦略経営に関する理論または実践の発展に貢献するところが顕著であると認めた論文を執筆した本学会員に授与する学会賞（論文部門）と，戦略経営に関する理論または実践の発展に貢献するところが顕著であると認めた著書を執筆した本学会員に授与する学会賞（著書部門）があります。戦略経営研究を進展させ，また研究と実践の相互交流を促進することに寄与できるよう，特に若手研究者，実務経験を有する研究者の研究活動の奨励を重視しています。
